Bellefontaine, OH (July 17thth, 2013) – Mary Rutan Hospital today announced that it has been named one of a select group of hospitals identified as providing outstanding performance in the delivery of a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay, as measured by Healthgrades, the leading resource that helps consumers search, evaluate, compare and connect with physicians and hospitals.
The top 10 percent ranking places Mary Rutan Hospital on a list of only 18 hospitals in the state of Ohio to be recognized. The award is based on an analysis of patient surveys from 3,828 qualifying hospitals across the country. In addition, Mary Rutan Hospital met or surpassed all clinical quality thresholds set by Healthgrades.

This prestigious recognition comes only three months after Mary Rutan Hospital was recognized by the Leapfrog Group. In March, the Leapfrog Group awarded Mary Rutan Hospital an “A” Hospital Safety Score, they were the only hospital in Logan and the five surrounding counties to receive an “A” safety rating.
