Kristen Lang, M.S., CCC-SLP, BCS-S, is a speech -language pathologist and Lead Adult Therapist at the Mary Rutan Hospital Physical Rehabilitation Center and the Regional Center for Feeding, Swallowing and Voice at Mary Rutan Hospital.  She co-founded the Regional Center for Feeding, Swallowing and Voice with friend and colleague Hannah Hawke, M.A., CCC-SLP, BCS-S, after sensing a great need for expert pediatric and adult dysphagia care in the community.  Kristen received recognition as a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders in 2014, which indicates advanced knowledge, skills, and training in the area of feeding and swallowing disorders.  She is also the Coordinating Voice Therapist and performs instrumental and acoustic voice and laryngeal/pharyngeal assessment.  Additional areas of focus include aphasia, apraxia, and cognitive disorders.  She enjoys her wide variety of pediatric and adult patients, but her passion is in adult therapy because she (almost) never has to put any of her patients in time out.  Kristen was born and raised in Bellefontaine, Ohio.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in 2004. and her Master's degree in 2006, both from Miami University.  Kristen is excited to live and work in her home community and is passionate about providing excellent service to all of her patients.
